The exhibition catalogue features photographs from New York based photographer Martin Schoeller, whose style is described as 'hyper-detailed close ups'. 

 

Through his celebrity portraits Schoeller demonstrates his quirky personality, as well as his fascination with capturing the raw and honest emotion of his subject.

 

The main concept was to create a simple layout with cool, calm tones that enabled the viewer to get lost in the details of the image. I wanted the viewer to feel like the subject was staring at them intensely while they analysed every wrinkle, every freckle, every flaw.
